Do you guys only listen to metal and metal type music? I'm just wondering, what other bands do you like that arent metal?....

Ulver, Dead Can Dance, Trial of the Bow, Of the Wand and the Moon, Sol Invictus, Bohren und der Club of Gore, and all that poncy post-rock stuff.

Lots of progressive but that goes pretty close to metal sometimes.

Definitely classical too and then of course, 80's pop because it reminds me of my youth (although i was only 6 when the 80's ended)

lol im watchin o borther where art thou right now. great song
i enjoy classic rock in the style of pimk floyd, the doors, led zep, etc
but my first love is grunge and post grunge. staind, seether, soundgarden, bush, stone temple pilots, and most especially alice in chains. smashing pumpkins is ok but i can't stand nirvana -- too punk, too teenager, no subtlety at all. power choards can only take you so far
