Unless you're talking about different versions to what I saw, I would guess Jane Doe, which is an asskicking album. Same as all Converge
As for The Great Cold Distance, I am completely hooked on it, first Katatonia album that has grown on me this much, mind you it's the first one I have given this much of a chance to...
Highly recommended either way.
And I like the cover, even if I am sick to death of Travis Smith, this one is pretty tasteful.

As usual on Katatonia albums for me, there is one track that I don't care for as much as the rest, here it would be The Itch (I used to dislike Consternation, but like most of VE it grew on me immensely), but I agree that there's nothing truly bad on TGCD...the old cliche "my favorite is whatever's on at the time" applies here.
