Last movie you've watched

Ssss...whahaha...?
The Tin Man going back to the Land of Oz (San Fran where Skynet is) to go meet his maker...

Anyways last movie I saw was The Proposal in the theater and A Good Year on DVD... I loved both... Sandra still has her touch when it comes to romantic comedy type of movies...

last movie i saw was the godfather!!! amazing movie. i dont see how anybody says that movie is boring. amazing acting and filming. one of the best.go watch it now if youve never seen it. and btw book is amazing too.

fuck yeah The Godfather trilogy rules. 2 is the best imo

I liked the first installment the most, although two is equally as potent. The Puzo book is also worth reading, but the movie is significantly better.

Last movie I watched was Day of the Jackal (which I followed directly with the much weaker The Jackal). It's an excellent, taut movie.

Hmmm. Interesting.
sounds about right no?

From Dust Till Dawn - still think it is the best movie about vampires!
You mean from DusK til Dawn... and you only say that because of Salma Hayek's sexy dance  probably the sexiest dance onscreen imo... but as for Vampire movies i would say Interview with the Vampire though it could of been done longer and a couple more scenes from the book could of been added...

fuck yeah The Godfather trilogy rules. 2 is the best imo
Godfather part 3 was weak imo... Sophia Coppola wasn't that good and Andy Garcia wasn't believable as Sonny's son... and his acting sucked as well... But Al Pacino is great in all 3 especially the first 2.. easily his best acting imo...

Last movie I saw was the Transformers one... a little like the first one but still entertaining and i didn't think it was that long like others say... 2 1/2 hours is almost the norm in terms of movie lengths nowadays.... and Megan Fox was smoking hot... I really do think she is the most beautiful caucasian girl in Hollywood if not the world.... wish she done porn instead of mainstream movies lol

District 9. Really good. Obviously derivative of, or more likely a homage to, other sci-fi flicks in places, but great film-making nonetheless.

Sharlto Copley was excellent.

I liked how Copley's dialogue was mostly improvised. Not to mention how he changed from being a contemptible, sniveling shit to fairly sympathetic by the last act.

Heh, The Fly was the main one I thought of. On that note, Cronenberg is re-remaking it, which is like something you'd read in The Onion.

Strange, I must concede. It doesn't need a remake. Cronenberg is a great director, though, so if he's fully involved in this remake and it's being made because he thinks he can better the first (his first, not the first first one), then it may be good.

Back to District 9 - Copley was excellent, I agree. Come the end of the movie, he's very, very sympathetic. How do you feel about a sequel? The plot leaves it wide open, and it'd be quite neat to see if he can become fully human again, as that's something that Jeff Goldblum could never manage in The Fly, which was a point of great sadness in that movie. District 9 finishes, although on a low point, with plenty of optimism.
