What a weekend!

Start off with a li'l Moose Drool, a Brown from Montana.

Then get some Belgian-inspiration. Salvation rules!

And one for Matt. Very good beer indeed, with similar flavors to the Salvation. Both weigh in at 9%. Yes, I did finally find this beer locally. I shall have more.

Gotta feed the hophead. Fresh Hop is made with green hops straight from the field before they're dried. Some grassy flavors evident. I love hops and this is one of my favorites.

And to end the weekend on a good note, one of my homebrews. It's an oatmeal stout. Perhaps I will find some time to brew again once my boy is a little older.

And thus ends Meltdown's 12-shows-in-8-weeks fiasco - we're quite the weekend warriors. We got to hit four states, and get some shows with actual signed bands, so it was pretty cool. Here's me, looking like I'm not enjoying myself at all opening up for Macabre this weekend. I swear, it was a fun time.
