This is the tree that split my head open a few weeks ago. Sunday, the offending branch was removed. Never trust a tree that has tasted human flesh!

Looks like a lovely spot though...
My dad has a couple large lots that his home is on, I think it's like an acre & a quarter total, been going up there since I was in grade school. There have been issues with the dam, that got fixed a couple years ago. They drained the whole lake, and I'm unsure how the fish population is coming along. There was interest in filling it in and making a 9 hole golf course out of it. Had that happened, someone would have died...
I DID enjoy taking the chainsaw to that branch!
