Just a few words here and there, greetings and manners etc. We also learnt similar words but in French, cos we stopped over in Mauritius on the way... Mauritius is awesome!!!

The thing about French, Italian etc is that once you learn one it's much easier to learn the other romances. They are just as hard to learn as English imo.

It kinda makes sense, seeing as that they are all situated in a similar area, and were probably all part of the Roman Empire, so the language probably stemmed as variations of the Latin or whatever they were using...
