here's some pics of me with some orphans in Kenya. They were taken from a mission/safari trip that I went on with my school, about 6 months ago:

Here is a progression of photos taken live on safari from our safari van, of some lionesses devouring a wilderbeast or some other large herbivore... Pretty cool huh!

We could actually hear the meat tearing and bones cracking etc. Pretty cool stuff eh!

Yeah thanks guys, it was an awesome experience! The principal of my school used to live over there and teach, so every 2 years he takes a group of yr11s and 12s over and we get to do all the touristy stuff, as well as spend some time doing work at an Orphanage which is run by a good friend of his... We get to see both the best of Kenya as well as the worst, all in the one trip and it really challenges everything you believe in... Our school is also starting to organize more similar trips, this year they're having one to Cambodia...

Anyways, I've got tonnes more photos of both safari and orphanage, but I just particularly like that one of me and the kid (whos name is Rudolph and has the biggest grin I've ever seen... ) and the other kid Michael who is holding a cheap travel guitar that I took over... So many memories...

EDIT: I was gonna put the lions in the 'Show us Your Pets' thread, but I didn't think anyone would fool for that...
