actually i would have to disagree with you RashomoN.
It's is more accurate to say milot מילות as in מילות יחס, מילות שייכות on the street you will hear people say milim but the correct form is milot so you are on the right track. and there is a rule for that. feminine words end with "ot" musculine end with "im". even stuff that sound wrong like "ofnaim". ofnaim is a pair word for ofan meaning BIcycle (dunnu if i spelled bicylcle right ). it sound right to say ofnaim godolot but ofan is a musciline so you would say ofnaim gdolim. And same thing for hatzer. hatzerot. hatzerot rehavot. (I didn't explain it to you but to the guy above you)

BUT as you said there ARE exeptions althought "milot" is not one of them.
like the word IR עיר - city.
it's a feminie word but the suffix is "im" Arim ערים
and an example for the word "niyar" although it's a non-count noun it's musculine. and for example if you want to say "pretty paper" you say niyar yafe. but for plural it'll be "niyarOT".
but remember that the adjective for musculine plural will always end with IM and for feminine it'll always end with "OT" and there are no exceptions.
(exept maybe words that are both faminine and musculine such as "matbea" (coin) מטב&#1506

Even though I never really found it hard to learn a new language, I have come to the conclusion that hebrew is quite hard to learn. Especially the writing, because it is so different from everything I know. Until my level is up a bit I will not dare to write in here.

It would help if there would be some kind of course I could take. But there is none where I live.

i have something for you: just try to learn the writing of "cursive hebrew". it's easier than "print hebrew". Actually you need the pront hebrew just for reading and for writting it's enough if you can the coursive hebrew. I didn't knew that so i can write both now.... .
