Lost...

Sorry, but you are 100% wrong. The role of the mercenary named Keamy is played by a guy named Kevin Durand. The role of Capt. Gault is played by a guy named Grant Bowler. (courtesy of IMDB, and my own eyeballs.)

Dang really?? I must need to get MY eyeballs checked! Where the heck have we seen that mercenary guy before then? To me, it wasn't even a question who it was, and since I'm not the only one who confused them, have we seen this person on the show before somewhere else?

This is his first season of Lost and he's obviously been a few episodes. But I agree he looks familiar. According to IMDB he's done quite a bit of TV shows and movies, though I couldn't pinpoint him from any in particular. Maybe he's just got one of those faces. Kinda an interesting character in Lost, too.

I found it interesting that Ben was wearing a parka when he inexplicably arrived in the Saharan desert. How did he get there, and from where did he come from? Perhaps someplace cold. Not to mention the fact that the parka name patch said Halliwax. I'm assuming Edgar Halliwax, aka Dr. Marvin Candle aka Mark Wickmund from the orientation videos.

And then during that intro scene when they're playing Risk. Hurley says something like, "Dude, you're letting him take Australia? Australia is the key to the whole game." Interesting.

Last night's episode was very poor and kinda lame we waited all week for that! All we got out of that episode was how hot Kate is :loco:

Yeah pretty boring episode. I mean, just how much drama do they think Jack's surgery can produce considering we already know he's gonna be fine.

On another note, anyone else think Sawyer's character has really deteriorated as of late? I mean, who the hell appointed you Claire's protector? That seems to be his only purpose these days. I don't know, it just seems like he used to be one of my favorite characters and now he's just sorta uninteresting.

Fixed. :loco:

I loved the scene between Jack & Hurley, anytime Jin & Sun interact (the writers could have done so much more with them!), the fact that what'shername speaks Korean too, and that they finally started to reveal how Claire & Aaron were separated. Jack's surgery was so penultimate and I just can't stand him OR Kate. The two of them together almost makes me roll my eyes because I know the scene is just going to be about their relationship instead of what I want - smoke monsters and polar bears! It was so boring to watch them be domestic. They have a boatload of questions to answer but time is running out - they better start answering some soon or people are going to lose interest (read: me!)

agreed, I dont want another season to explain the smoke monster. And I wonder if that guy that they showed in the previews is Jacob, since they showed him when Ben was a kid and said he's been dead for 12 years..

i posted in like march that this show was starting to get boring because of the heavy commercials and the lack of at least 2 detailed episodes in a row.

boring might not be the right word...just annoying as hell that after a week of waiting and a hour of watching...i barely know anything more.

i think this episode started off some good things though.
claire/aarons seperation
hurley seeing charlie
jack seeing what his name, after hurley tells him hes not supposed to raise aaron
interesting. and jin making that girl make the promise to get sun/unborn off the island. since we know jin dies, (or is at least still on the island) in the future.

If you're still talking about Keamy....the only thing I know off hand that people might recognize him from recently is 3:10 to Yuma. He played one of Russel Crowe's escorts to the train (Crowe killed him with a fork during their first stop on the way....at the beginning of the movie he was one of the ones burning down Christian Bale's character's barn)

They put the episodes up on ABC.com the next day. In fact, every episode of Lost from the beginning is available on that site, in both regular and (if your PC can handle it), HD versions. This made me quite happy the other week when my DVR decided that it would much rather record the local news than the episode of Lost I had told it to record...

I seem to have trouble playing the episodes from the website, so if I miss it on Thursday night, I'm kinda out of luck.

I would never advocate such a thing, but hypothetically, some nice soul uploads most popular shows as soon as they air. If you check out a bit torrent site, you should be able to download and view it. Hypothetically.

Well, true. But I also know nothing about torrents :-\ Not sure I really want to deal with that either.

*feels like a n00b today*

I think it was her computer is so outdated that it cant run the HD episodes, I told her about it a few pages back. And I don't think they do the reruns anymore at the previous hour with that crap Grey's Anatomy so just :(
