I was just wondering how fellow Opeth fans (and maybe Mikael) felt about the band Mastodon. I'm a pretty big fan of this band and I figured many of you are fans of Prog Metal as well and possibly also enjoy their music.

Well unfortunatly the files I have don't include the last track, but I just finished listening to all of the others and I very much enjoyed them, some less screaming/growling but nevertheless very nice.

Mastodon is great! EPIC gitar-shit playing! Epicly swift drummer, and pretty cool vocals that fits the music perfectly.

And Yesum a fan of Mastodon! Saw them live bak in '07 with Slayer when they did their aussie tour. That night rocked!!
