It was a ticket from StubHub in a part of the venue that was sold out and it netted me a drum stick from their now ex-drummer, so it was well worth it.

I'd only see shelling out over $150 for seeing a band like Dead Can Dance perform for one night. And I don't think they even charge that much for 2 nights of performances.

Okay so since it seems no one is taking the initiative to set up a hotel situation, I've been looking at the different hotels available in the area and basically whatever idgaf about how nice the place was last time I just want cheap shit and lowest I've found so far is $124 a night for the Holiday Inn about 1 mile away, and $135 a night for the Days Inn within 'walking distance.'

So people who are planning on still going ... hotel ideas?

Hotel ideas...Whatever is the cheapest is my vote...Even though Im still going, I think I might need to change my plans about sharing a room...So, maybe my vote doesnt mean anything lol.

Being on the road I need whatever money I have to just get me to Maryland, I cant think about hotel money right now. Once I get there and see that I have enough money left over to spend on a room, I'll shack up with ya'll if you got room...

If not, I'll just shack up with some crusties on the street because I doubt I will have money for a room in 5 months.

I really want to stick with the Tremont and I know that Jeremy and a few others really do as well. We've had great luck there and though it's expensive it is worth it due to its proximity to the venue, their staff is nice, we have good memories there, the bands generally stay there, etc.

btw i'm not walking a fuckin mile to the venue. fuck that.

Yeah, I would like to stick with the Tremont as well, loved it last year, but it is just a matter of needing to figure things out a little bit more concretely.

My name is Jeremy and I endorse this message.

Tremont all the way. I volunteer to handle booking and all that other bullshit since it's only fair and gives Grant/Guy et al. a break for once.

If we're a smaller contingent this year, let's stick to one room. It's nice to have two so people can go and sleep but that purpose was hardly respected last time and I doubt it could ever be (goddamned French Canadians at 5 fucking AM...).

I'm in a financial position to handle all this, but I hope to see more commitment hotel-wise (or any-wise) from as many of you as possible.

It seems that definite commitment is only coming so far from Andy, Nicole and David. Who else?

Im down for the Tremont, I really do not have the time to reserve the room and what not but I do have money, which I can paypal transfer once everything is set. Most of you guys have my number I think so just hit me up.

I'm about 90% sure I'll be going. I'll be better acquainted with my finances in early-mid Febraury or so. That being said, whats the general cost for the Tremont anyways (over 3 nights, after being split up between everyone?).

Yeah, go ahead and count me along with a few of the other bros (Lord Bleull, Vince, and possibly JB/MountainsofMars if he doesn't blow his money on spice). I can't guarantee that they are going, but I really want to. I think Cythraul said he was going to go, and I talked to Velocibrad at Rites and said if he needed a place to stay at MDF he knew where to contact us lol.
