Moonsorrow's best album by far is Verisäkeet

That's the problem right there. One thing I've learned, never buy the entire discography in one go. You just end up in mass confusion system overload error delete *.* password: joshua.

With Primordial it just led to SPIRIT THE FUCKING EARTH AFLAME now, the rest later.

Agreed. Though I've been going through a Devin Townsend phase. Went onto The End yesterday to buy "Ocean Machine". I also picked up "Terria" (which last time I heard, I was unimpressed by). I'm just assuming I'll love it now, as I'm apparently in a very Devin Townsend headspace right now.

I've been listening to TGW a lot this year....went back to StEA remembering that this was my fave Primordial....and I'm not so sure anymore. TGW has grown on me to the nth degree.

Has anyone else seen "The Making of..." DVD for TGW yet?

I still need to get it in that format, but have been lazy 'cause it's too expensive. And whether or not TGW is better (a position i've taken myself against firm opposition many times), StEA rules and I got it later, so it completely took over!! Haven't been in the mood for any Primordial in a while though. We shall see when year's end comes.

Quit teasing and let us know dammit!! :goggly:

honestly, it didn't much for me at all. pretty forgettable tbh. i put the headphones and ignored all distractions, even. it's a meh album. Voimasta reigns supreme.

The 4th song, "Jotunheim"...I think this is the one with the 3 minute acoustic intro....never have I heard a song that embodies Autumn as perfectly as this. Or certainly it ranks alongside Drudkh's "Wind of the Night Forests" or Agalloch's "The Mishapen Steed". The latter, by the way, belongs in a movie soundtrack.

This album gets better by the listen. :kickass: TURN THE VOLUME UP!

Seriously, "Haaska" live is going to be thunderous to the point of thundering you into thunderdome where 2 men enter and 1 man leaves and masterblaster runs bartertown.

I only discovered this a few weeks ago and it's good. This says much considering I feel like I'm not part of the reality anymore :hypno:
