most influential death bands?

unfortunately I haven't heard Nihilist yet.
Clandestine by Entombed was one heavy fucking metal album though just like a big 'ol fucking slab of Death

Unleashed actually sounded different compared other swedish death metal. The band did not go to sunlight,etc.. their brand of death metal is different. I doubt they were as influencial to the swedish death metal sound like nihilist carnage entombed dismember. According to Century Media they sold very well for a death metal band so they probably did influence 90's death metal in general, not just swedish.

Did Grave have a big impact ?

Decapitated aren't very influential, they are on the recieving end of the influence. They took elements of Florida, New York and Polish death metal and combined them into a perfect mix.

- Morbid Angel (no. 1 occult Death Metal band)
- Cannibal Corpse (no. 1 Gore Death Metal band)
- Death (technical Death Metal)
- Entombed (Left Hand Path triggered the whole Swedish Death Metal 'hype')
- At The Gates (melodic Death Metal)

Decapitated sound like an annoying version of vader mixed with meshuggah and fear factory.
