Most universally hated genre of music?

I think there are no genres UNIVERSALLY hated by everyone. I think rather there are genres hated by some categories of people: metalheads hate Pop, Dance and Nu Metal, rappers hate Dance, dancers hate Metal, and so on.

But probably the most hated genre is Pop, because it is the most commercial one.

I've been meaning to look into that, 'cause it's one of the few genres I don't ever listen to at all. Dunno where to start though.

hmm... I don't know if there is a good place to start, for opera, but I personally find Anna Netrebko to be very likable and accessible. Here's an example:

and Barcelona with Montserrat Caballé and freddie is probably the most accessible song.

lol

Even though I'm not so sure it counts as a genre, I doubt you'd find many fans of opera.
But how many will say they hate it?

Are you aware of what pop means? It's short for popular. And this is the most idiotic statement made so far in this thread. Sorry, but pop music is fucking huge.

Chinese Opera is pretty bad.
qft

hey, panzer's back

As said before, it's probably death or black metal...

As for me, I cannot tolerate classic rock. Hell, I even like one or two rap songs, more than what can be said for classic rock.
