Can somebody explain Beyond Thunderdome to me? Granted I only caught the second half, but with the sparse dialogue, what was unfolding before my eyes didn't make a lick of sense.

Frances Ha - Greta Gerwig gets five stars from me regardless just for being in House of the Devil, but in Frances Ha she is genuinely funny. I'm not much on this mumblecore bullshit but this movie is good.

I suspect a lot of Amazon's limited service here is due to Canadian companies whining/lobbying. That was certainly the case with the Kindle's limited functionality here.

I went to see Avengers and it was sold out. Saw Mad Max Fury Road instead. It was basically Tom Hardy grunting and shit exploding for 2 hrs.

It's a very well made film, the sound design was particularly nice. Though if you're going in expecting a full out horror fest you're going to be bored to tears.
