Movies

Yes, it does.

"I see your Schwartz is as big as mine." hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha..............

"FOOL YOU!!!"

Kills me every time, I wish Rick Moranis was in movies again, that dude is hysterical.

yeah, Moranis was always funny as hell. His character in Ghostbusters still makes me laugh. ANd his character in Parenthood cracks me up, especially when he sings that dopey song to his wife. PARENTHOOD RULES!!!!!

"I knew it, I'm surrounded by assholes. Keep firing assholes!!!!"

"What's the matter Colonel Sanders? Chicken?"

But my favorite is:

President Scroove: "Helmet, what's going on?"
Dark Helmet: "Sanders, what's going on?"
Sanders: "It's MegaMaid. She's gone from suck to blow."

HAHAHAHAHAHA.......

so what do you think about this? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0371724/ i'm a bit skeptical actually. mainly because i think the humour is rahter brittish and i'm not sure a hollywood production can make it really funny. and secondly: mos def as ford prefect? since rapper's acting talents normally extend to playing gangsters with enough attitude for three normal guys this could be a disaster. and since when was ford prefect black? now don't get me wrong here but i always pictured him as a lanky englishman...

I saw Natural Born Killers last night. It was...interesting. I liked it.

Well now The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy will have to be moved up on me to read list, before a massive wave of movie previews ruins it for me. :)

Natural Born Killers rules. What a fucked up movie. I drank half a bottle of scotch the first time I watched it, I think it enhanced it quite a bit...

Lost in Translation

My fiance and I got through 52 minutes of this movie (roughly half of it) before turning it off. And I was bored for 50 minutes of it. What a fucking POS. It baffles me how this was nominated for Best Movie of the Year. I like Bill Murray, but I think the Academy simply felt sorry for him. His performance in this movie is nothing extraordinary. Fuck man, I can act dull and bored and complain about Tokyo, show me something else!

I hate artsy fartsy movies. I think we're going to try to finish it tomorrow, that is, if I don't have anything else to do, like pull the weeds out of my yard one at a time or clean the dirt in my garden.

FUCKING BORING AS ALL HELL!

I had a fun movie weekend.

Watched 'Spun' Friday night; pretty entertaining romp through the disgusting world of crystal meth addicts. Reminded me of 'Requiem for a Dream' at times, especially with some of the camera effects and style of filming. Very Aronofsky-esque.

Then decided that Sunday would be perfect to finally get around to watching the original 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre' (nope, I had never seen it) followed by an old favorite of mine, 'Return of the Living Dead.' Both great cult horror flicks, I'm sure you all know them.

I think 'School of Rock' will be next.

Went to the flicks to see 21 Grams yesterday and I have to say it's a terrific film. The timeline of the film is all over the place but as usual it all comes together in the end. Sean Penn just controls the film - he is just awesome. On a side note - Naomi Watts may have small breasts but she has the largest BULLETS I have ever seen. I nearly chocked on my popcorn. Man, they are huge. To explain - look at your right index finger, from the tip to the first crease (on the inside) - that is how big her bullets are, you don't believe me go and watch the film. Amazing breasts.

Just finished watching CONFIDENCE - with Edwards Burns, Rachel Weisz and Dustin Hoffman. Excellent caper movie. If you loved HEIST you've got to get your hands on this. The grift is executed flawlessly.

Holy shit that is specific! Not just from the tip of her finger to the first crease, but (on the inside) no less!

I've only seen Battle Royale II recently, and it sucked. Might actually end up at a movie theatre this weekend though, for the first time since Return of the King (opening night of course :D ).

My buddy just burned me a copy of this, sounds good.

I think I might actually go to the theater tonight to see 'Mystic River.'

I am anti-piracy; he rented it and burned it (like he does 100s of movies). I'm unemployed d00d, I have no cash. Once I get a job, if I like it, I'll go back to buying movies and renting through Netflix. For now? All bets are off.
