My view on "Powerslave"

Soo, right now I´m getting deeper into Maiden. I´ve heard "Powerslave"
on my way to work and I´d rate the songs like this:

Aces high - 9/10 (one of their best singles)
2 minutes to midnight - 8/10
Losfer words - 6/10 (lame instrumental)
Flash of the blade - 7,5/10
The duellists - 8/10
Back in the village - 8/10
Powerslave - 8,5/10
Rime of the ancient mariner - 9,5/10 (little bit too long)

I also noticed that some parts of "...mariner" reminded me on either
"Hallowed be thy name" and "The clairvoyant".

I am the same......never really got into 'Flash of the blade' but the whole album is a great experience, real 'boy's own' stuff.
And I mean that in a good way.

I was never a big fan of 2 minutes to Midnight or Powerslave. I always find myself hitting skip on the cd player. Back in the Village though, I think is underrated.
