My view on "Powerslave"

Well, the thing is that it's not a bad song, just my least favorite in comparison to the rest of the album. I have a hard time rating songs below a 5 unless I REALLY hate them. Besides... It has a cool intro.

How can everyone love Piece Of Mind so much?

Aside from The Trooper and To Tame a Land, and maybe Revelations, that album is a bunch of badly produced, cheesy, old Maiden B-sides.

Back in the Village is one of the best Maiden songs ever.

First two songs are the best on album and the classics of Heavy Metal.
'Rime' also.
Not best is 'Losfer Words' and it's 9,5 of 10.
Personally I don't like that much title song 'Powerslave' but anyway it's exellent done.

'Piece Of Mind' is exellent classic MAIDEN album.

Powerslave is a fucking masterpiece in it's entirety! Nothing bad about it what-so-ever. I saw them on that tour and it was an amazing show.
Also, I'm shocked to see the negative responses to Piece of Mind. WTF? That album is equally a masterpiece as well. In fact it's my all time favorite.
