You're getting very close to nailing this....super melodic riffs....melodic vocal lines...even if it's not exactly what I had in mind, this is good shit either way.

That Defender is so Priest influenced, it's not even funny. That's what I mean by 'more NWOBHM' and less 'Bay Area'!

These two plus the Liege Lord I've listened to repeatedly so obviously we're on the right track!

By the way, the vocalist for Liege Lord also sang for Annihilator, so there you go!

I think they only had 2 ... possibly wrong ... Fear of Tomorrow and By Inheritance ... both pretty good, with the first being a bit more raw.

Yeah, not a fan of Rivera. I don't really like vocalists who sing the same vocal lines over and over. This is quite prevalent in US metal for some reason, where the vocals sound thrash-based, as opposed to NWOBHM based.
