new attack attack song (GREAT JOB JOEY)

The intro to sexual man chocolate (which is probably the most homosexual song title I have ever seen) should have been the opener to the album. Fuck this stupid club beat nonsense.

+1 these new hardcore bands that fuckin' use gangster/hyphy club/techno beats are fail, you are playing metal, not rap you fucking idiots.

Talk about genre confusion.

I jus want to say that people who throw punches at attack attack specifically for having different types of sounds /styles are hypocrites if they preach about originality. You can't tell an artist he can't paint with blue because his last two paintings were red.

I think I just peed my pants laughing.

So glad someone freeze framed this because this exact moment in this exact video caused me to cry laughing one morning. The rest of the day was spent having random laughibg fits just thinking about it. Hahahahahaha

Attack Attack! said themselves, they write what they want to write. It's their music, no one else's. If people like it, great. If they don't, too bad.

Personally, I think the autotune took some of the edge off of Johnny's voice, which gets rather annoying in this album.

Jason Cameron's voice in 'Lonely' was astonishing. The mix put so much focus on it and just makes it shine.

The dubstep is an example of what Attack Attack! does best, they combine genres, and make it fun.

With all of that said, I expected so much more artistically from this album, and am hugely disappointed. But, I think the production is phenomenal.

I think you have misunderstood. Try to look at the situation not in black and white. No one is throwing punches at their originality or lack of (subject to personal opinion), but to have a defined sound in one genre and just absolutely out of the blue randomly completely change genres just for the sake of doing it is simply strange. Having other genre influences and adding it to the overall sound is something we all do and is a huge reason some bands are viewed as original because the way they mix their influences is a blend that hasn't been before, but jumping back and forth completely is just out there, and comes across to many people around the forums like they are trying too hard.

In terms of originality it would be very original if not practically every bad similar to AA has done something similar, it seems to be the in thing. At this point its been so overdone that it is practically as cliche as half-time breakdowns. If they are playing music that they want to make then their is no need to be original if they are happy with what they are doing and if people like it, and from the way i see it no one was ranting about originality. You don;t have to be original for people to like you or for you to be happy with the music you write, and as long as the musicians and the fans are happy, just let the haters hate.

Attack Attack have real fans?

I don't mind some parts of their music, but I figured they were pretty universally ridiculed. I mean the whole Deathcore scene here uses them and bands like Abandon All Ships as a general punchline.

I quite like that the core scene is splitting off into one group going heavier and one group doing stuff like this though.
