I really think this is gonna kill attack attack. Or at least cripple em. For The Fallen Dreams isn't nearly as famous, and for a reason. Cause the teens heard the infectious dance beats with the autotuned voice in their /core and it was over. Now that they are throwing that behind it'll have the same effect for them that Panic at the discos second album had for them.

I think that is actually a really good point. The more metal they get, the more fans they could drive away. They got attention for a very certain sound and image. Sure, some guys around here will like the addition of djenty riffs, but this forum is still a relatively small community compared to their current fan-base. They do however have the rest of the album to add techno/dance stuff, so they could just be trying to expand there musical palette with this song, in hopes they will gain more credibility among the metal heads without turning away their current fans.

14 year old girls dont care what type of sound they have. they LOVE the band and they will always LOVE the band.
I mean TDWP has changed pretty drastically yet they havent gotten any smaller. IMO thats just how it is in this genre
and if anything, this is a big boost for FTFD and will potentially make them bigger because of it.
I dunno, if anything, TDWP has gotten more socially acceptable, with more clean vocals and a cleaner, more melodic overall sound, so I don't know if that's the best example.

uhh? they most definitely have less clean vocals on the newest album and tons more screaming.
and yes more melodic sound, just like new attack attack is pushing in some of parts and just like FTFD.
