A: Debasted within the next 20 or 30 years. I doubt it will be uninhabitable at least for us, it would be a vast wasteland with a human sustained oasis in each mayor city.

A: Some people are being born with mind reading powers so they are all put in a big dome with enough supplements to keep them happy. Someone gets murdered, and everyone tries to read each others mind to find out who did it, but everyone's subconscious is going mental because they are affraid of being accused. It turns out the guy who did it repressed the event.

a: yeah, in a way. it's a deep idea.

A: yes i do. it's the kind consisting of a plastic rectangle about 2-3 square inches in size, with a black magnetic strip running down one side of it. the name on it is mine. the numbers on the card are my personal code, obtained by the manufacturers through some complicated algorithm whose mechanism is not to be revealed to the customers. the expiration date represents the moment, a few years in the future, after which i will have to renew my credit and/or debit card contract with my bank or other institute in order to keep taking advantage of the benefits of a delayed payment.
