A: Spring break at a friend's parent's place in the desert.

Q: What's your punishment for convicted drunk drivers?

a: language-school holiday, dublin, 1994. you can't forget, you'll never forget. made friends, fell in love (with several people), got intimately acquainted with one of the most amazing places on earth. close second: road trip to germany with rahvin, 2002. third: language-school holiday, london, 1989, even if my brother kept me stripped for cash all the time.

EDIT: arch, you bubu.

a: give them a very difficult and dangerous physical exercise to perform when drunk. if they succeed, they weren't a danger in the first place, so no harm done.

q: first job you ever had?

A: It's dark brown...that's my natural hair colour. BUUUT, I dye it often, usually to black, but this time I wanted a change, so my hair is dark redish with some prune colour in it... :) A real mix..

Q: You're favorite curse.. you can curse in your own language (if not from English speaking countries) and then translate it. I'd like to see what kind of a custom others have when cursing :D

a: 'sti cazzi. it technically means "these dicks", in a shortened form, but it's something you don't say about sex - depending on the situation, it can translate to anything... it's kind of silly and quite funny most of the times.

examples -

speaker 1: i've just won the lottery!
speaker 2: 'sti cazzi! (=how lucky!)

or:

speaker 1: we cannot finish this job today, the office network is down.
speaker 2: 'sti cazzi! (=well, not our fault, isn't it? so we might as well not care)

or:

speaker 1: do you think she will go out with you?
speaker 2: 'sti cazzi! (=not a chance; in this case, in some parts of italy you would hear the singular form 'sto cazzo or the variation col cazzo - lit. "with the dick" - or si, il cazzo, simply "yes, the dick")

or

speaker 1: that guy has just discovered a new theorem!
speaker 2: 'sti cazzi! (=i'm extremely impressed/surprised)

or

speaker 1: are you coming to the movies with me tonight?
speaker 2: 'sti cazzi! (=yeah right!, sarcastic slant included)

q: go on with this, it's fun.

thanx for that lesson in italian swearing ;)

ehm oke, in good old vienna language I would say my fave is "oida geh scheiss'n" what would literally mean "fuck off" but as in the example of hyena u use it for so many things so it can also mean "damn", "shit" etc etc...

yeah go on, we want more haha

so is the plural common around rome? i've only heard the singular form before, in our area.

here everyone uses the plural. i've actually never heard the singular once from the locals. personally, i find it more adequate in some situations, where in others i still love the good old 'sto cazzo. :tickled:

Oh, my... didn't think you'd like my question THAT much ;)

Grazie, hyena..sei veramente brava :D

Oh, well.. In my country you HAVE to use a family member, preferably mother in a sexual activity with an animal - dog goes just fine if you want to be REALLY good at swearing :)

For example:
a) Jeb'o ti pas mater! - literally it means "I hope a dog will fuck your mom". That one is like one of THE worst!
b) Idi u pičku materinu! - ooo, that one is pretty nasty too and most common. It means "Go to your mother's pussy"
I know they don't sound nasty and mean, but here it's like the worst you could think of..or at least, you're getting there. Still many animals and many sexual activities can be used with your mom in the same sentence

I usually say "A u pičku materinu".. well, you know the destination by now, but I didn't send A person there.. I just sent _something_ that occured there, something that wasn't really nice.. in this context, it'd be sth like "SHIT" or "DAMN" more or less.

Keep 'em coming :D

A: Well one thing we are known for saying when presented with something shocking is "Oh My Fucking Shitty God!" I think that is very funny and it sounds good. Also when a woman does something annoying we say "Kick her in the cunt". I didn't come up with that, but I've used it a couple of times. Bet you don't like me anymore.

Q: you?

A: My personal favourite is "pendejo" which means something like asshole, and the favourite insult in Mexico is "chinga tu madre" which means "fuck your mother" it's the worst thing in this country to insult someone else's mother, although I take it as a compliment

Q: how much do you weigh?

In Holland we say "klootzak"which is similar as Thanatos "pendejo" also "eikel" which means dickhead is very popular..

A: 45 kilo,sorry can't make more of it :erk:

Q: Do u like poetry,if yes which one is youre favorite?

No I don't really like poetry in general, I'm more into prose...but as far as poems go, I really love von Goethe's Erlkönig.

What's your favourite poem then? Why?
