My sophomore living situation was the best, connected room with one of my best friends with a door separating us. She had to walk through my room to get to her room and the nights when we both had special visitors over were hilarious for morning-after giggling.

My freshman roommate is a prize winning nymphomaniac. The best ever was when she brought home some dude while I was sleeping. I woke up and heard her say "why aren't you haaard?" and then I started laughing and she said "My roommate's laughing at you." Never shared a room with anyone after that year!

Nothing to do with anything I quoted but I see you're now in Montreal. How do you like it?

Are you going to McGill?

I am going to McGill. I really love Montreal so far, it's so much better than Boston in every way. I'm not a fan of the high prices and taxes, but aside from that this shit rules. So far my McGill experience is excellent as well.

Nice. I've lived in Montreal when I started going to college...13 years ago (wow, time does fly).

I love Montreal but only in small dose. I wouldn't like to live there but I really enjoy every visit there. I must be one of the few who actually prefer the Ottawa region. It's certainly more quiet and the traffic is not nearly as bad. Some would say it's boring but it depends what you're looking for, if you're not really into the bar scene...then it's not too bad.

I do miss the amount of shows that I was able to see in Montreal...but I'm still relatively close so I can always go if there's something I want to see. I did see Watain in Ottawa though...with a monster crowd of about 20 people.

By the way, one the best places to buy cds in Montreal used to be Profusion (1843 Ontario Est). Freeson Rock (1477 Mont-Royal Est) used to be good as well though more expensive. They were specialised in Metal and Prog.
