Well, I dunno about being awesome, but I try my best. hehe
I hope it does get more popular, it's a great idea! It also makes the fans feel closer to the band, that we are pretty much directly involved in the process of getting the album released. It's a nice feeling, being able to help a band you love keep making new music.
Whoever did get that guitar, is a lucky so and so, that's all I can say!
It is, though I have a feeling that there was change of plan due to "True American Hate" being leaked. An official lyric video for it has just been released though! lol

Yay, that's awesome! It just needs to go up by 1% every day, and the target will be reached over a week before the deadline arrives!
I think the leak very likely was the reason. Chuck, Alex and Eric said numerous times in interviews that "Native Blood" was going to be the first single. The record company probably discovered about the leak, so decided to officially put the song out so at least some promotional gain could be made out of it.
And about these official lyric videos springing up all the time now... yep, I think the fact they are cheap to make is a major reason for it! The official video for "Native Blood" was being worked on before "True American Hate" was leaked, so it just goes to show how quickly these lyric videos can be put together!

Geez, there's a really kewl album/t-shirt bundle, but it's only available in the US, and they don't ship to Europe... 
I have the opposite problem,my problem is the conversion and shipping.I'm surprised they don't ship to Europe.That's lame,it's 2012 everything should be available everywhere.

And yep, it is lame. I ordered from Metal Blade Records in the US earlier in the year, and they shipped to the UK no problem... I dunno why Nuclear Blast's US store can't do it, when Metal Blade can.
Well I guess not exactly that problem, mine is that a lot of things are only sold in Europe.I can get them.But it's at a huge cost.

Yep, if NB De can ship to the US, why can't NB US ship to Europe? It's a shame they don't have the t-shirt/album combo in the EU store, they do have the box set, but I'm not that interested in the belt buckle... lol

Back to topic, i like the new TESTAMENT song, but don`t know the hype about blastbeats. I think the song would work without them. The solo section is awesome, the sound is good and Chuck B. sounds great as always.

I know all my talk about staying away from leaks and all that.But...I'm glad it did get leaked.I have a feeling that Native Blood isn't the heaviest song on the album.

It won't be long now!!!Just ordered the cd/dvd/t-shirt minutes ago.I know how much you hate those digipacks Rich,but I had to have those bonus tracks ya know!!!Also pledged to flotsam yesterday.Now if we only could get both bands on the same bill and make a stop @ the webster theater all would be right w/ the world!!!
The guitar work on this new song is kicking my ass.Nice job Eric and Alex.I can't wait to hear this in my car on some real speakers and hopefully hear the bass.

I did get the Stalingrad NB box set, but that had a kewl t shirt in it, and was limited to 500! I still haven't ordered Dark Roots yet... I'm still not sure where's the best place to get it from. I was lucky with the timing for the credits, for sure! lol Thanks again to you for alerting me to the pledge thingy.

Here is a brand new interview with Eric, and it seems that Gene might, just might, be the new Testament drummer permanently! I really hope they can work it out so he can stay!

I have noticed there's been a lot of new pictures of the band lately with Gene in the lineup, and I don't think they'd be doing that with just a session guy! lol Eric has said that Gene wants to stay with Testament, it's just a matter of working around the schedules of Gene's other commitments so he can remain a member of the band. I think Eric starting up Dragonlord again might help with that, as they can both do their own thing, then return to Testament. It's just a matter of making sure the schedules don't clash. I sure hope he will stay, as Testament really deserve to have a world class drummer such as him in their lineup! The fact that Gene himself wants to stay is hopefully a good sign that they can work things out so that he can.
80%? I think we're going to make the target before schedule!
