remember when I said Jay Cutler will probably get injured pretty early this year....
yeah, I think it might happen in this game.
Jerry Angelo, the Bears General Manager, needs fucking shot.
Thanks for helping the O line in the offseason.

This Steelers game is crazy so far.

Rough recap:

- Steelers score a touchdown on the opening kickoff on a reverse from Mewelde Moore to rookie Antonio Brown for 98 yards or something.
- Steelers force a fumble on the ensuing kickoff.
- Dixon blindsided, sack and fumble. Jonathan Scott, replacing injured Max Starks, gets beat bad.
- Titans score a field goal off of the turnover.
- Steelers go 3 and out, Titans have a nice return.
- Polamalu picks off Young in the endzone.
- Woodley picks off Young later on.
- At some point Reed hits a field goal.
- Johnson fumbles at his 25, Steelers recover.
- Reed hits another field goal as the half expires.

Also of note: the Titans had a 70+ yard Johnson td run wiped away by a holding, and the Steelers had a Wallace td reception wiped away by a holding as well (Jonathan Scott again).

Also, Dennis Dixon left the game with some type of knee injury. He was taken back for x-rays, but he was standing on the sideline in uniform (thought without a helmet) by the end of the quarter. I guess his return could be called questionable. Obviously that means Batch has been in. if Dixon doesn't return, the #2 quarterback right now is Randle El. The Steelers cut Leftwich to sign a DT from the practice squad to compensate for the loss of Hamtpon for the game, after which he'll be cut and resigned to the practice squad and Leftwich resigned. At this point he may be starting next week.

My thanks to the Steelers/Titans for holding CJ in check so far.

Edit: Whenever the officials want to call a holding penalty against the Bears they can. Garbage officiating.

Wow, no roughing on the Bears but roughing on the Cowboys......

Man, the Steelers defense played incredibly until the last 5 minutes of the game. The game finished way more exciting than it should have, especially with Will Allen bumbling the onside kick recovery attempt and letting the Titans tack on more junk yards before realizing that they're not going to win. Still held them to under 250 total yards playing desperate all day. 5 sacks (2 by Harrison, 1 by Woodley, 1 by Polamalu, 1 by Keisel, 3 interceptions, 3 fumbles (plus another fumble on special teams). Chris Johnson had like 35 yards or something. Vince Young got benched. On the other hand, the Steelers offense was mostly garbage, and Dixon never returned. Leftwich may very well be starting next week against Tampa Bay where he played last year. The running game was inconsistent with a makeshift offensive line (RG Trai Essex is injured now, to what extent I have no idea). Several times they played with Tony Hills at LT, Kemo at LG, Pouncey at C, Legursky at RG, and Jonathan Scott at RT. The offensive line needs to get healthy quickly.

And on another note, the Bengals beat the Ravens, so the Steelers are in first place in the AFC North after two weeks.

After watching half the Colts/Giants game I will continue to confirm the garbage officiating this yr. Don't change rules if you aren't going to enforce them across the board.
