NFL 2014

Cutler could throw for 4000 yds and 30 TDs. If he stays healthy and upright. Which is a big if. Also, 15 INTs is more likely than 10, and fumbles when not staying upright are another issue for any QB not getting protection.

Yes! Too many brainfarts...guys like Cutler, Romo, Rivers lots of raw talent just not the best from the neck up. Guys like Manning, Rodgers, Brady have their blunders, but their minds are what seperates them from the rest. Watching them control a game from the line of scrimage is near orgasmic. Brady for that matter isnt and has never been mechanically sound but makes the most of whatever skill he has and makes up for it with his brains and guts.

I would say his mechanics are pretty damn good lol. Precision accuracy requires it.

Meaning Brady?

Meh he is not that good lol. Honestly not always pic perfect mechanically but he has improved over his career. Thing is i always liked Brady for what he is...not just as the hated Patriot QB, but
more as the rare determined low drafted player who more than made the most of his oppurtunity and then some. My two favorite alltime Boston athletes for a reason are Larry Bird and Tom Brady. Talented yes, Bird the more attractive draft pick, but both clearly not blessed with the most physical talent. But from the neck up unmatched as leaders both the best clutch performers who turned their franchises around. Both one of the best ever at their respective positions.

Ill shit a brick if he pulls that off. With some of thier moves, poss NFC title game if Cutler does that.

I think Vick has a better chance of teaching Gino sumn :guh:

whats funny is people think all 1 QB can teach another QB is how to read a defense. yes we all know vick can't read a defense but geno was thrust into starting and still has a lot to learn thats not just reading a defense. there are things vick can teach geno that don't involve another teams defense

Of course.

Vick has been around, involved in different orgs / systems, his own abilities etc. Im sure he'll provide sumn to help improve Geno. My question would be do you think he was brought in for this, or to actually come in and be the starter?

So Colts owner Jim Irsay when stopped recently by Cops was said to be carrying 29,000$ and numerous prescription drugs in assorted briefcases found in his car. Sumn tells me he wasnt out buying milk n bread.

I just don't see how he's gonna provide so much help to Smith. Perhaps a bit in being a professional and a leader, but that's about it. IMO Vick is there to compete for the starting job. I think Jets already know they probably whiffed on Smith.

It depends on how their defense plays. If they struggle again, the Bears could definitely snatch the division away.

Yeah it's definitely possible, but the Packers are the definite favorites until they're dethroned.

i myself don't think he was brought in the be the starter. i think the jets and the fans no longer wanted sanchez around and wanted a solid backup who knew the system in case geno got hurt or started playing badly several weeks in a row. vick knows the system because marty was with the eagles, vick also might be a key in the jets getting WR jackson from the eagles.rarely do i see teams with a 24 year old QB have a backup thats 28. usually the backup is a veteran and as much as i hate vick i was glad to see sanchez go

I think Sproles made Jackson expendable as far as Kelly was concerned, and Jackson obviously wasn't the sort of lockerroom presence desired. I think there is a good chance he winds up with the Panthers.

I'm pretty sure Jackson is involved with something criminal or gang related. You don't just flat out release a player of that calliber because of a bad attitude. And he had a pretty shady situation where his house was robbed of $200,000 in cash, plus jewelry and guns. Why would anyone have 200k lying around if they weren't gonna use it on something shady? Anyway, from a football perspective this sucks but I can life with it as long as there's a good reason.
