nicknames!

i've seen some really odd nicknames on this forum and i thought i'd make a thread where you can explain the meaning of it and why you've choosen the name you're using.

well i'll go first: my real name is stefan and some years ago when one of my friends forgot my name (don't ask me how he could forget it) when he had to call for me he just said the first thing that poped up which was "spaffe", it was so stupid i decided to use it

Mine comes from something I learned in a medieval history course last fall when we studied vikings. The teacher was telling a story about how some of them named their weapons, and apparently one guy named his axe Brainkisser (cleaved a lot of skulls I guess). I thought that was pretty cool so I used it here.

my name comes from a buddy of mine.... we were trying to think of stage names or something we might use in the near future... meanwhile im building my new guitar (my own design and everything)... then he came up with a name for my guitar "Axe Of Darkness" where Axe=guitar... so i just use that name.... where as my other name "Demons And Lies" i just thought of one day.... thought it sounded realy bad ass.... even made a song about it....

It's just one of my favorite cars. HemiRoadrunner I think would have been too long. And I don't mind being called hemi....sometimes I get called hemi-roid, and hymen too. It's funny.

Plus, it's kind of self-protective. Everyone thinks I'm a guy, so I don't get hit on, or calle "cunt".....Which, happens alot on the net. But, hasn't happened at this forum. Most everyone's been pretty freaking cool!

my roomates friend stayed at my house for a few weeks and all he ever drank was Natrual ice... at least 8 beers a day.. there was so much of that shit in my fridge that I couldn't fit any food... This was about the time I started to post on this forum

I've been a big Robert E. Howard fan since I was a kid or so (the guy who created Conan back in the 30's, and also wrote other excellent short stories in the vein of lovecraft, but with more violence.) So, Cimmerian's been a name I've used as a nickname for quite a while.

i used to use the handle, "Mithgulwen" a lot, but it's lame, and my other one, "Plaidlightbulb" is not very metal at all, and being too lazy/busy/apathetic to think of a new one i just chose M, except you cant have a username on here of one character so thats why its "M." with a period.

Ziuwarian.. because I'm from the lands of the Hermundurii (germanic tribe) whose highest deity was the god of the sword - Ziu, who can be very well compared to the norse god Tyr (often equalled to be him later on). And since I am remembering my ancestors, I am also a fellower of Ziu, thus Ziuwarian.

Heavy Metal Samurai.

Any Metalucifer fans will know that, it's a name of one of their songs, great band I saw them at Wacken last year, it's kind of a Sabbat side project (that's the original Japanese Sabbat,not the British (Return To The) Sabbat)

Heavy Metal Samurai, I think just sounds cool, Seven Samurai is also my favourite film of all-time.
