Oh yeah, there was a meta thread about that very issue. It's real tiring when near perfect girls post there. I try to be the Devil's advocate and say to myself that hey, just because someone is gorgeous, they can have self-esteem issues. But then the same girl keeps posting a new nude about her on that sub every day... zzzz.

As for the normal subs, I'm already unsubbed from half of them. Pics and funny are some of the worst popular subreddits out there. But I had to leave news and worldnews too, because the anti-Trumpism just bled through everywhere. Even when there was some major disaster, the only news on my frontpage were like "a european politician said that he disagrees with trump" wow, thanks.

I don't understand how creepy got basic sub to begin with, but it's everything but creepy nowadays.

Cool, road to Premier League huh? I'm not really following Championship, how's your team doin this year?

And I'm a big fan of Fenerbahçe, though we're not really doing good this year. Really really bad actually.

Blackburn actually had one of the greatest Turks of all time play for us - Tugay what a legend. Love that guy. We had Hakan Sukur briefly as well but that didn't go so well... isn't he in exile in the States nowadays? crazy shit.

I don't know if Blackburn are going up to the Premier League any time soon but we're doing OK. We got relegated in 16/17 season and could have been facing total oblivion, but a new manager and better players got us promoted back to the Championship straight away. So far things are going pretty well, mid-table and won 3-2 at the weekend. I think we'll probably finish mid-table this season, but that's OK. Better than getting relegated anyway.

Not sure I've ever met a genuinely beautiful (looks wise) person who isn't ultimately anything more than a vacuous parody. I fully understand how they end up that way, but those types of people are almost impossible to be around unless you can somehow identify with them or are willing to put up with extreme bullshit in order to get a small amount of largely boring and unfulfilling sex. Not my scene.

Well we had a chairman change, previous one was there like 20 years and the club wasnt doing too well recent years. We're not on CL since 2008, thats a pretty bad thing. Anyway with the new chairman we had pretty big changes on the club,squad completely renewed. We have a new coach aswell, Phillip Cocu, so things didnt click on the team yet. But we have an important match today with Beşiktaş, hope we can win it.

Yeah I totally forgot about it but Tugay played there pretty long. Hakan Sukur was good at Galatasaray but didnt have much success outside Turkey. And yeah he's in exile as you heard, pretty complicated things actually. 2015 was a crazy year for Turkey, coup and stuff and he was supporting the guy who tried to coup, so he's no more here.

Yeah I checked the table, you guys dont really doin that bad actually. You guys on mid-table but not too much point difference with leader, 4 points only. At least better than Fenerbahçe at this point.

Yeah I know, we just live in such an outrage-ready society these days, and the thread title provides no context I'm sure some people would look at it and think we're bashing teh gays or something.

Well, I'll leave it up to A88 to decide. The thread has somehow had over 600,000 views so the title hasn't stopped it from becoming the most viewed thread on this forum I'm curious to know what all the views were for though.

Speaking of gay and offensive...

Five years ago some people decided to organize a "Hetero Pride" march in my country. The march itself didn't grow to be very big as only around 50 people turned up, but the counter-reaction was much bigger. Over 100 people turned up to oppose the event, and thanks to good news coverage, there was a somewhat of a shitstorm on the Internet. "Bigots", "haters", "idiots"... even the Nazi card was played, of course. The funniest thing was that very many (maybe even the majority?) of those got offended were straight. They just got offended ON BEHALF of gay folk. At the same time many homosexual people were just laughing it off.
