well i don't have certifications in anything to do with any type of computer repair... but i learn what i need to learn to maintain my computers... and throughout my life i've had far more problems with PCs than with Macs, and had to buy far fewer macs in a given period of time than PCs to replace old, broken down computers. i will pay $2K for a mac laptop that will last me 6 years well before i'll pay $800 for a similarly specced PC that will last me 2... i save $400 in that equation, thus making your "they are overpriced. that's not debatable" comment quite debatable indeed. and that's irrespective of the experience of using the two during the time i own them. i used PCs before i got my first mac, and have had a pC alongside my macs for years... buying a new PC soon, but i'll not use one as my workstation. my choice, based on my experience... of 15 years of owning both platforms. the macs just give me far less grief.
and every single person on this forum that's ever changed over will agree with me on that. if there's any that don't, they haven't been switched over long enough.
anyway, now i've finally talked some shit about PCs.. happy?
and THIS ^. it's been my main prob with your posts on this thread Mesa.... and the fact you don't seem to get that is mind boggling. talk about "elitist".
