Why people constantly need to tell others of their metal credentials is beyond me. Seriously, we might as well start making metal resumes.....

I would assume that people do this to provide a frame of reference for their post... but if you want to turn it into some kind of psychology seminar about metal envy then I suppose that is your right


I would suggest Still Life as a starting point - this is where the new rhythm section really comes into their own, and Opeth becomes much more than a fantastic Swedish death/prog metal band.
