My friend just introduced me to some Opeth and I must say it really kicks ass. I've never heard something that can go from so calm and malodic and then to so brutal.

yeah, it takes awhile to get into i think, but after that your hooked, you might wanna check out Katatonia too (theyre not simillar really although the Opeth vocalist Mikael sings on a Katatonia album) go to the opeth forum, its great.
