Opinion on Infected Nations, why do you guy think?

To be honest with you

No

I think our eyes just glaze over and we imagine what you type

Why do you think it took so long for someone to eventually twig something wasn't quite right about the wording of the topic post

:lol::lol::lol:

how do your thoughts compare on first listen of the album to a few listens after? does it change? get better? worse? notice more goodness? get bored? want to learn it? want to show it people? embarrassed to own it? tell tell tell

It changes indeed. Gets better, i think you have to give it time. Its not because of the drastic change though. Its like.... err.... Trying to listen to napalm deaths Scum (yet nowhere near as extreme haha) That album is hard to listen to because of production, but you get used to it. The Evile album is just not as easy going as ETG.

The deal is sealed for me now, if i get a job after a silly amount of interviews ill be ordering the vinyl asap.

We post here so much it just slipped my mind, apologies!

Isn't us posting here all the time thanks enough? Or shall we go rockstar on yow asses?!

It would just have been nice!

Of course it's nice that you post here... men of the people and all that! But at the same time you shouldn't only be posting here because you feel that you should. you should be posting here because you like the banter! Unless you just want us to brownnose and feed your egos all day like the people on the Megadeth forum with Dave Mustaine...

English: Slatanicthrash are not need it

What you say?! He am grammar good!

can't believe i didn't notice that the title of this thread is so hilariously foreign sounding

"why do you guy think?" haha well done slatanicthrashhhhhh

I read the first sentance of that, then looked at the topic title and assumed you were making some sweeping statement about all foreigners being full of disease and infection  Bloody racialist!

Thats exactly what I was planning to do, but that'd mean I'd have to retire my 'SHit Band No Fans' banner momentarily.

Or 'Sht Fans No Band'

So was that you with the banner at Bloodstock last year? I assumed it was one of the tossmonkeys from the UK Thrash forums.

On topic: Just having my first listen through at the moment, I'm up to Hundred Wrathful Dieties, which is pretty badass (but then I've always had a thing for instrumentals, and of course, the longer the better). Aside from that, I think Time No More, Metamorphosis, and Nosphoros are stand-out tracks for me. As I said before, the vocal production still bugs me, I think it was better on Enter The Grave. Otherwise though, I reckon the productions better on this album, most notably on the guitars. Listening to My Parasite now, not sure what everyone's on about it being "fun". Not that it's bad, that's just not a word I'd use to describe it. The riff fucking slays though. All in all I reckon it's a decent album. When Infected Nation was released I was a bit dubious about it, but having heard it a few times I think it's ace now, so I'm expecting the album to grow on me a bit as I listen more, as people have said on here.

I got it!! (finally...)

Very very good album but not perfect. I have only listened to it a few times yet but until now, my favourite tracks are Infected Nations, Nosophoros, Divoid Of Thought and Hundred Wrathful Deities. Very cool and real metal sound.

BUT!!!

Some of the tracks are a bit too long imo. I think some of them just would be a bit more epic if they were a little shorter.

8.5/10

P.S. MA FIRST REVIEW EVVA!!

Well, I went to the local recordstore today to pick up my copy of new Whiplash album "Unborn Again" and as Im a regular customer there the owner had put a copy of the new Evile album on side for me so incase they sell out I can buy it as they know my music taste there. So I went there bought the Whiplash album and as I was leaving the owner got there and siad he reserved me the new Evile album. I had heard it couple times trough (from youtube...) and I wasnt sure about it as the vocal style had changed to in my opinion worse direction as I like my thrash raw. Well anyways I bought the album and more I listen to it more I start to like the vocals. I cant say top tracks yet but playwise its a killer album and vocals needs some more listening to fully like.

On side note, I was gonna come see you guys play in Helsinki with Amon Amarth but its now sold out so I cant come :(
Sucks but who can I blame but myself for waiting too long...

First listen was like "FUCK, need more". There was no feeling of it being a grower, first listen I was hooked. It's a similar feeling to my first time hearing Ride the Lightning. Some albums just give a hugely epic vibe, and Infected Nations does that for me. Gave me goosebumps. After a few more listens it got even better, picked up a few things here and there that I didn't notice the first time.

I've been raving about it constantly to anyone within hearing range (those who do like metal, even those who don't ) and playing it at school as loud as possible on my speakers. After hearing it a couple of my mates (who weren't overly fussed with Evile when I showed them ETG) are going to buy it, and they almost NEVER buy CDs (I know, I know, bastards ). That's gotta be a good sign.

and full apologies for not dedicating a thanks to the forum faithful, i just assumed you fell under the banner of "everyone who believes in this band", but since you have voiced your thoughts.....

:) THANK YOU. you will get a special dedicated mention next album.

To be fair, If I were as good a drummer as Ben I'd spend all my time bashing the shit out of my kit. And unless they put a PC in the pub, I don't see Mike getting on here any time soon

you will get a special dedicated mention next album.

It had better be special! I expect screen names, real names and avatars... In fact, let's have a full page for every member! Fuck lyrics, people can hear them, they don't need to read them!

Not everyone can hear the lyrics but just as long the lyrics are posted on the internet I can't see why that suggestion can't happen

:kickass::kickass::kickass:

ive listen to it a few times need to give it few more listens to decide favs tracks etc but ive been quite busy this week, but well done it is fuckin excellent i still prefer etg but mainly as i know it soo well, this is definatly a much more mature album n defo shows the sign of evile evolving into have there own unique sound

Ok, I've refined my plan based on your post. How about this: Print the lyrics in braille and then print real words over the top of it :D
