Kirk could have been in the same league as Satch and Vai with a much better interpretation of music. One is a brilliant example of this as it features one of the best constructed solos of all time which is perfectly inserted into the song but also features technical brilliance. Saw Megadeth. Was within shouting distance of Mustaine. Shouted 'Dimebag' at Mustaine in the middle of his 'I was best mates with Dimebag' speech. Dave says for every minute we prolong the speech by yelling we have to stay an extra minute at the end. Shouts of 'play whiplash' enuse.

A few days later Dave gets return email from The Engines of Armageddon telling him no, he can't be in the band. And no, not even if he promises to be our super best friend for ever and ever.

Technical, original, inventive, fast, catchy, and well done with a feeling like it belongs perfectly in the song. And while One's solo hits many of these little know-nothings think it's the greatest metal solo ever, thus it is overrated

Well it rates up there with Iron Maiden "Powerslave" and Led Zep "Stairway To Heaven" solos.
