Perfect Albums

Yes Imaginations From The Other Side is definitely perfect for me. An interesting trait for these kind of albums, at least for me, is that I'm not that well informed about what song sounds like this and what song sounds like that, this part here and this part there etc, I can't even name all the songs on the album now that I think about it. The reason is that I always listen to it in one go and it all flows together, and it probably doesn't work as well either to listen to it in pieces.

It's my favorite. There are certainly songs on other albums that I like more; but I think that Heavy Horses is a rare combination of tight performances and some phenomenal songwriting, none of which is boring or filler (in my opinion).

It was, admittedly, a tough decision. Songs From the Wood and Minstrel in the Gallery both come close.

What about thick as a brick!? IMO that is a perfect album

Wtf is no country's problem? Nobody cares if you don't like Divine Torture's music taste, stop fucking posting about it!

Admittedly I did make fun of The Cure so maybe I shouldn't be the one talking!

Yeah, it is, I know... I just find myself able to listen completely through the other three more often than Thick As a Brick. My impatience isn't really fair to the record though. So yeah, I agree with you; it's definitely among what I would call a perfect album.

I do not get the hate for Death. Symbolic is godly. TSOP is pretty good, and has some godlike soloing. Chuck's vocals simply don't bother me, tbh.

I have no issue with them either. On occasion some of the songs on TSOP are a little boring, and some of the ones on Symbolic could handle a little shorter lengths, but otherwise there's nothing about them to hate.

Maybe you missed the point. I don't do much because I don't like to do much. The only thing I would change right now is having a job. It's not like I haven't been looking for one. So I don't know what you meant, but you sounded pretty dumb there. My life is just fine and I'm satisfied except for the money....?

then quit whining to people about numerous bullshit who don't give a shit about your life and stop posting so much and fucking go do something?

I don't do much because I don't like to do much.

wait....nvm then....continue on with your.....life?

Well vocals never bother me any more unless they're worthless yelling like you get with shit like Gojira or something, but there's no doubt that Chuck's are still completely worthless and don't improve the music.

And no one's hating on Death, we're just pointing out that they're good but nothing more.

Death is right up there with Cannibal Corpse for most overrated DM bands ever...

I will go out of my way to listen to Human every once and a while... but nothing more.

I have more respect for Death than Cannibal Corpse for sure but that post isn't far off from the truth really.

I post about the same fucking thing anyone else does. AGAIN, RETARD: I just need a job. My lack of social life is my own choosing. I've got a gf and son, so that's plenty. CAN YOU FUCKING UNDERSTAND WHAT I'M SAYING OR DO YOU HAVE TO KEEP RESPONDING WITH MORONIC POSTS THAT NECESSITATE RESPONSES IN ALL CAPS? No one gives a shit about anything anyone bitches about here, so my bitches are no less/more valid than anyone else's. Fucking christ, you're ignorant, useless, and quite frankly, stupid.

Also, if you don't want to read what I post, put me on ignore and stop reading them. There, fixed. My feelings aren't hurt, and you're ignorant statements about things you clearly aren't understanding will no longer be made. Deal? Good. Bye.

Then stop bitching about your life on a metal message board and look for a job fag.

It's really hard for me to choose "perfect" albums as there is almost always something I could complain about. It also kind of depends on my frame of mind when listening to the album. However, these come to mind when I think of borderline flawless albums...

Aeternus - Beyond the Wandering Moon
Sacramentum - Far Away From the Sun
Graveland - Thousand Swords
Burzum - Hvis Lyset Tar Oss
Burzum - Filosofem
Mercyful Fate - Don't Break the Oath
Bathory - Under the Sign of the Black Mark
Pestilence - Consuming Impulse
Asphyx - The Rack
Cemetary - An Evil Shade of Grey
At The Gates - The Red in the Sky is Ours
Necrophobic - The Nocturnal Silence
Black Sabbath - Black Sabbath
Black Sabbath - Master of Reality
Black Sabbath - Black Sabbath Vol. 4

Everything you said is wrong though. Chuck's vocals are one of the things that makes Death so great. Maybe you don't like the vocals because they aren't typical of the Death metal style vocals you will find in other bands.
