I made this track for a subject (technology applied to music) last year, it had to be 1 minute long, had 2 midi tracks (in this case the keyboard and drums), 2 loops (the bass and the derbake) and 1 audio track (the guitar).
The riff of the guitar is in 7/8 but the song is in 4/4 wich creates something very cool.
It sounds similar to closure, because of the arabian groove, the percussion, and the keyboards of the live version, and it is called "tema loco" wich in english means "crazy song". http://rapidshare.com/files/125008430/tema_loco.mp3.html
I've just uploaded 2 new demos to my myspace page if anyone is interested. "Overcome" is a full song, while "edge of the world" (We Stood At The Edge Of The World, Ready To Fall) is just a quick looped sample i made a few days ago.
mohaa, been recording some covers again ^_^
they're a bit sloppy here and there cuz they're one or two takes and i'm too lazy to put more effort on them.
more covers coming soon...or when i feel inspired again...maybe not soon.
Put a new song up just now. I just wrote it, so it's pretty rough, but I like it. It's called 'The Bitter Emptiness of Years'. Sounds kind of like 'Brave Murder Day'-era Katatonia and Xasthur. It's an instrumental. Check it out!
