Post your Hauls!

In my case was the other way around. BG became boring after ANATO, even if I have ATITM, the next two were totally forgettable. But the new one recovers some of the aggression of the classic albums, quite right my alley.

Again, after just my initial listen, I would say that I agree the album is very aggressive. But other than the single "Secrets of the American Gods", none of the tracks struck me as all that memorable. But I have to listen more before making a final review opinion.

A very big grower, quite satisfied with it.

Yaay!

That one is kinda weak for me. I prefer (so far) 'Violent Shadows' and 'Blood Of The Elves', as well as the opener 'Deliver Us From Evil'.

Still not running to buy it yet, analyzing the Conception (reissues) albums to see if I make a neat haul.

I picked up the new Ozzy Osbourne album Patient Number 9 today.

I also grabbed used copies of Cinderella's Night Songs and Still Climbing albums. It was the first time I've ever seen that latter album in the wild.

I've listened to the album just once and while I will give it a few more listens before I write my review, I wasn't immediately impressed by this one.
I've listened to this album 3 times now. Well, I'll listen a couple more times. Maybe I'll change my mind.

Eric Wagner - "In The Lonely Light Of Mourning"
Le Griffe - "The EPs"

Today I picked up the new House of Lords CD Saints And Sinners.

I also grabbed used copies of Night Ranger's Seven and Lou Gramm's Ready Or Not.

I bought some used CDs from a fellow poster on another music based message board and they arrived today.

Billy Idol - S/T

Billy Idol - Rebel Yell (Expanded)

Alice Cooper - Hey Stoopid

Alice Cooper - Trash

Danger Danger - Screw It!

Fate - Scratch 'N Sniff

I had a damn good week of a new/new-to-me music haul.

First up was the physical copy of the Love In Chains debut album Everyday Heroes. I had reviewed the album via a download link I was sent from the PR company. But I loved the album and wanted my own copy. I had to wait a bit to order it, but it is now in my hands.

And then came my visit today to my friend's shop Purchase Street Records. I saw a post on Facebook that said they'd recently purchased a 4,000 disc collection. I messaged my friend to make sure today would be a good day to come by to check out the new stuff. He said it was but only what they'd already gone through and put out on the floor. That's fine, not like I could buy everything anyway. He also said he was getting another 2,000 disc collection soon too. (That turned out to be today).

So when I got there, he actually said I could go in the back and check out some of the stuff that was still in boxes that they had sorted but not put out yet. Most of that stuff was material I wasn't interested in. But there were three Meatloaf albums that I'd never seen in the wild before. One of which was still in its original wrapper.

Then I checked out the racks on the shop floor and found 8 more discs I HAD to have (amongst a lot more that I couldn't afford right now). And there were TWO albums there that had never been opened either.

So here's the list of what I got from the shop:

Overkill - Horrorscope
Overkill - The Killing Kind
Overkill - Immortalis
Night Ranger - 7 Wishes
Onslaught - In Search Of Sanity (with Steve Grimmett on vocals)
Suicidal Tendencies - Lights...Camera...Revolution
Meatloaf - Dead Ringer
Meatloaf - Bad Attitude (still in wrapper)
Meatloaf - Blind Before I Stop
Dee Snider - We Are The Ones (still in wrapper)
Fates Warning - Night On Brocken (still in wrapper)

I stopped by Purchase Street Records again and I got to go through stuff that hadn't been put out on the floor yet.

I came away with the following:

Julliet - S/T
TNT - Realized Fantasies
TNT - My Religion
TNT - All The Way To The Sun
Testament - Demonic (signed by Chuck Billy)
Arcade - S/T (still in wrapper)
Arcade - A/2
Overkill - Taking Over
Night Ranger - Big Life
Night Ranger - Neverland
Night Ranger - Hole In The Sun
Accept - Predator
Tesla - Real To Reel (this collects the two volumes that were released individually)
Tesla - Forever More

Hammerhawk - "Welcome Home, We Expected You"
Steel Prophet - "Genesis"
