Post your Hauls!

Spent the day in London Ontario (a city of 400 000 about a 2 hour drive from here) scouring the music and CD stores. The haul is as follows:

Riot - Fire Down Under (Vinyl) - 99 cents
Deep Purple - Very best of ($9)
Priest....Live ($6)
Slik Toxik - Doin; the Nasty (99 Cents)
Coverdale / Page - 99 Cents
Great White - Hooked (99 cents)
Wolf - Ravenous ($11)
Gemini Five - Babylon Rock ($12) - I bought it because I never expected to see it in a CD store

Thrashist Regime - "Terror Takes Shape" (thanks a lot Caveman Ninja ;))
Time's Forgotten - "Dandelion"

So I just relistened to Ravenous. I dig it a lot. Still not as good as their 06 record with Nordstrom, but I think it's about on par with Evil Star.

Here's where we agree and disagree. Yes it is on par with "Evil Star" (somedays I think even better), but "Evil Star" it's their best album not "The Black Flame" ;)

Machines of Grace - S/T (Zak Stevens fans owe it to themselves to pick this disc up. Fantastic release).

Forget about that disk... Thanks for the tip! Gotta go find me a copy.
Wish they'd come up with a more unique name ~ pretty close to "Machines of Loving Grace"

Robin Trower ~ For Earth Below at the flea market for $2
new Dream Theater (1 disk version; too cheap to buy the 3 disk one)

Fleetwood Mac (old blues Peter Green version) - Live in Boston Vol. 1-3, The Pious Bird of Good Omen, Shrine '69 (the original Fleetwood Mac is the source of Green Manalishi, Black Magic Woman, and many other cool tunes - If Zepellin wasn't Zepellin, then Fleetwood Mac would have been - provided Peter Green didn't freak out on acid and schizophrenia - highly recommended for any old school proto-metal blues fan)
Judas Priest - A Touch of Evil
Peter Frampton - Frampton Comes Alive (expanded version)
Goatwhore - Carving out the Eyes of God
Uriah Heep - The Magician's Birthday
Dire Straigs - S/T

Mars Volta - Octahedron (didn't even know it was out!)

Accident of Birth is a good album and reminds me of a better AMOLAD but I still prefer Dirty Deeds. The guitar work is straight outta Maiden. Actually, it reminds me a lot of ASKA.

AOB is not a better AMOLAD is a zillion times astoundingly superior to AMOLAD (again fixed for you :heh:).

As for Aska I have their last three albums (and the first two as MP3s) and they have evolved a lot from NT to AP still for me they're a funny band, nothing to die for (with clearly Maiden influences but also Steel Prophet, Made Of Iron, Hamerheart)
