Heres my go at it. Thank you for sharing. I'm a huge KSE fan.

If you're thinking of another KSE cover, how about the single from their newest record. "In Due Time". You and your singer would sound great!

I revised this and put some more bass guitar in. Does anyone else have trouble finding the perfect bass guitar level?

I had trouble getting the bass under control since I lack good compressor plugins, so I just programmed it with Zombass instead, haha.

Been lots of fun playing with this one. This is like mix number 9 or something so going to call it good for now. Was well worth spending the weekend on and almost getting divorced lol (not really but she hates the screaming parts...whatever lol). Every time I do one of these, I'm learning some new plugin, wondering what stuff would sound like with more guitars in a mix, or trying an updated version of Cakewalk so it's very useful to me & this was perfect timing but a REALLY great cover tune with awesome vocals (which I also need practice mixing with).

Used LePou amp sims with Ignite Amps' Benevolent Custom "Tyrant Screamer" Pedal ("clean" guitars were TSEx50 I think). Used some impulses I made in Pro Tools a few years ago with the Sansamp PSA-1 Plugin's cab sim preset and refined recently.

Here's without the mid boost EQ on the Master bus: http://db.tt/voXge0tX

A blend of both (mid heavy mix at low level) with some tape saturation: http://db.tt/EXIbtYHN (FerricTDS on mix bus/didn't like as much on Master bus). This is the Soundcloud one & sounds best just listening casually at low levels.

I know I kind of did the opposite of the real song with cleaner vocals and distorted guitars but am getting more into this band now and that sound.
