I hear ya. I only spent half a day in Denmark last time I was there. Here's the best excuse to go back. So far flights I found are in the $500-$600 range. Not too bad.I sense a trip to Denmark being tentatively booked.
Wow.
And here we are yet again with the announcement of the next two bands to perform at PP Scan '08.
"Gather Ye Wild" is one of the song titles of this amazing Danish/Swedish band, Wuthering Heights. A blend of top-notch musicians from as diverse bands as Astral Doors, Lions Share, Loch Vostok, Pyramaze and Manticora, that will now be gathered for one of their rare performances (and first in Denmark since 1999). Wuthering Heights is the band that mixes so many beautiful music styles into one perfect diamond of sounds, and with the ever-relevant lyrics of musical mastermind Erik Ravn, this band is an audience favourite no matter where they perform. We expect them to be so too at ProgPower Scandinavia 2008.

To light up a dark Copenhagen in November, we have summoned the sun all the way from California in the form of one of this Worlds most equilibristic and technical bands - Zero Hour. A band that has played on both the American and the Dutch versions of ProgPower. Why should the Scandinavians be robbed of the chance of watching this amazing band? With the twin brothers Jasun and Troy Tipton on bass and guitar, the extreme shredding is secured. With Mike Guy to keep the rhythms alive and the great voice of Chris Salines (ex-Power Of Omens) to top the cake, the energy and musicianship of Zero Hour will secure a show that will not be forgotten at The Rock and in the minds of the audience.

Hmmmmmm, do i maybe see a VOLBEAT slot on here? Or maybe a FREAK KITCHEN, or to really go over the top DIABLO SWING ORCHESTRA? Say it's so Claus, please!!!!!!!
VolBeat would be totally out of the question ... the venue we're having PPScan at holds 700-800 people. VolBeat can sell out a 3.000 ppl venue here in Copenhagen for 2 nights in a row. Those guys are the biggest thing in ROCK in Denmark at the moment.
c.
It's weird cause it cost $621 from El Paso to Atlanta on Delta.
Nope, it's not weird at all. Delta can be amazingly greedy when there isn't someone else (AirTran, AA, Continental) to keep 'em honest. uke:
Those ticket prices to Denmark sound really good. This lineup is really tempting me and will doubtless only get better, but I'm fairly sure I can't afford it.
