ProgPower USA VII: Two Bands Confirmed

PYRAMAZE! i love them! i've been hoping for a very long time now that they'd be at PP7 and now they are and i can barely contain myself!
:headbang:
and this year im bringing some guys who have never experienced progpower before, and one of them already loves pyramaze, AND is from Greece! so he'll probably love wastefall! cant wait to spread the news, great choices glenn!

Incredible start; perhaps the best openers in the history of Prog Power (imo). Lance is a first class guy and amazing singer who will get things started the right way. All I can think about was when he was up on that stage with BoP tearing the place up! I have a great feeling about this years lineup and am excited about the time changes that have been implemented. Both bands will have a new album out prior to the show, making them excellent choices to kick things off each night. I am psyched!

Glenn, the check is in the mail!!!

PYRAMAZE!!!!! YEEEEHOOOOO!! Glenn never dissapoints!!! I'm absolutely speechless right now. Happy New Year to you too! What a wonderful way to ring in the new year with one of your hopefuls being announced first, and month(s) in advance. All hail the premier metal festival. CHEERS!!!!

I figured Pyramaze would get on this...I haven't heard too much of them, but there seems to be constant mentions of them in general and on wishlists, it seemed like it was almost getting Conception-like (i.e. every year there were 10 "Bring Pyramaze!" threads).

Thanks Glenn!
Agree, I would've been very shocked if Pyramaze hadn't been on this year's bill.

Things are off to a good start, I like Pyramaze and look forward to seeing em live. Downloaded the Wastefall and its pretty good, Im interested.
Now, to fill out the lineup I'd like to see, and what I'm predicting......
what does everyone think???

Masterplan
Iron Savior and or Savage Circus
Dream Evil and or Firewind
Thunderstone
Morgana Lefay
Gamma Ray
Pagans Mind

I heard that this year, Glenn had a pact with the devil to re animate (for one night only) a handful of passed on musicians just so they can play PPVII. I heard that he tried last year, but didn't quite have enough JD to bribe Bealzubub with....

I'm not sayin, just sayin....

So...what're you sayin'...know what I'm sayin...:dopey:

My predictions for the rest...

Gamma Ray and Running Wild (two 5 spots)
Pagans Mind and Iron Savior (two 4 spots)
Masterplan and Savage Circus (two 3 spots)
Thunderstone and another Prog band (two 2 spots)

gotta add Crystal Ball I think they would go over very well and they have some great stuff, remind me of White Lion mixed with Power Metal.

Wastefall is great band for PP...Soulrain 21 is a very good concept release. If you haven't heard it all the way through...give yourself a treat...it'll grow on you. Pyramaze...another great band. 2 great openers.;)

It's interesting to see how unanimous the selection of Pyramaze has been. That's pretty odd for these parts.
