Well, I've got a talk to do and I would need a 15/20 seconds long part of an Opeth song which could show the audience how the fuck they manage to combine heavy parts with mellow ones..
Suggestions ?

heres my suggestion, one of the most brutal opeth moments combined with sheer beauty:
3/4 of the way through 'wreath' there is a real heavy section that ends with 'end of the search, coming of morning' and there is a beautiful, relaxed, lead guitar with a really nice bass riff.....aaahhhhh, then back into the mayhem

Good idea, Dude..

5:45 - 6:15 of Beneath the Mire is one of theose awsome moments when thay go from "mellow" to totally ballistic. It;s one of my favorite Opeth moments. I know it's a little longer then you wanted, but I think it works pretty well.

I would go with the wreath suggestion. That was actually what I was going to say anyhow.. It is pure Opeth death metal then just some amazingly tranquil acoustics.

Unless he's presenting to, say, the local Satanic Church and showing how Metal can be mellow and still be cool...
