Far Cry 3 - 7/10
I was in the minority of players who actually liked Far Cry 2, i liked it for the freedom of doing all missions in one of the thousands possible ways of my own choice which gave me almost infinite replayability (played it through at least 100 times).

I liked FC2 but it was basically running and gunning and not much else. I'm glad they listened to the fans for FC3, haven't played it yet but from reading about it it seems like they added many of the things people wanted for FC2. It's on my list of games to buy but I'm waiting on a price drop and judging by your review I might not have to wait too long.

Recently played a few games here and there. Been to damn sick to play much this last week or so but I scraped my ass up out of bed for a little while and played this older arpg called Sacred a bit. It's sort of fun but really it's just like I can't get nostalgic for those Diablo style games anymore...guess I'm spoiled on FPS and Elder Scrolls.

In fact I'm installing Gothic 3 as I type. I bought the collector's edition like a year ago but havent gotten around to it until today.

Also looking at Borderlands 2, anyone played that yet? Got glowing reviews everywhere I looked and I loved the first one. Hard something about it being much larger too.:headbang:

Where the fuck did you read that?

Dragonborn expansion was released last tuesday 12th, Hearthfire was released yesterday and Dawnguard will be released next tuesday

you'll need to update your game 1st to 1.8 for the DLC to work properly

oh and you missed the boat on Dragonborn apparently but as a sort of apology each expansion is 50% off for the 1st week of release

So you can still get Hearthfire for $2.50 and then Dawnguard next week for only $10

Duke Nukem Forever - 4/10
Pretty much what I expected...fairly bland shooter. I thought it looked pretty good. Ammo concerns and 4 weapon slots in a DN game felt dumb.

Spec Ops: The Line - 4/10
A Shooter that didn't do anything particularly great, but was fun.

The new Tomb Raider is pretty awesome so far, just started my review playthrough. Here's part one if you're interested in checking it out. This is on PC, max settings with TressFX

Alan Wake & American Nightmare DLC - 8/10
These games were really well done. I feel Alan Wake could have been a bit shorter, but the overall vibe etc was awesome. Felt more like Max Payne than Max Payne 3 did... I love the use of the tv's with the extra videos etc...

American Nightmare was awesome in that it had enough changes to really feel like a bizarro universe version of the first game. An actual good DLC.

FAR CRY 3
the begnning was strange, i didn't know how to do any shit but then i got used to it very quickly and then it really kicked ass!
VAAS is by far one of the best videogame villains ever! :D

i did the main story only though, still need to complete the extra missions etc.

8/10

Amnesia, really entertaining and can scare you in the most silly ways. Looking forward to Amnesia 2: A Machine For Pigs

Haha, I just started playing Amnesia, too. It scared the fuck out of me when I turned around and met the first monster :D

And after the disappointment with Diablo 3 I really enjoy playing Path of exile right now!

well you should try Custom Stories, some are very well made and are much more scary.

The Black Ops 2 Revolution DLC is pretty cool, interesting maps. Still playing through Tomb Raider for review, really digging it. Got Castlevania Mirror of Fate (3DS) from Konami the other day for review, haven't gotten the chance to play it yet

Just rented this about a week ago and still have it out. Pretty good. Definitely similar to the old-school TR games but with a bit more intensity and freedom.

and....dat ass.
