I haven't tried D'addario yet. I have a bunch of them for my Acoustic guitar but I'm too lazy to change the strings on it.
But personally I'm still deciding between DR and Ernie Ball, they're both fucking good to me.

I'll put it this way: D'addarios not oly sound better, but last far fucking longer than ernie balls. When I first got my Jackson I had to get it set up, and they didn't have any .10 D'addarios so I had to settle for ernies. Three strings broke within just under a month, and as Greg will tell you I don't snap strings easily at all. That wans't the first time such a thing has happened, but that as good an arguement as any. At least try D'addarios, then you can thank me later.

I never brake strings. Not usually anyway. I change my strings once a month, so they are never too fucked up to brake.

Thats fair enough, extremely odd that you'd change them so often though - I change ine every 3 or 4 haha.

Give some D'addarios a try next time you change yer strings though, justto try them out. If you don't like them then I'll bum a komodo.

I've had the exact opposite experience. on the same guitar model you might remember.

Its a pain in the ass to change them so often, economically aswell, its just that they stop sounding so bright after a month.
