I've had one lucky experience come out of one of those bad experiences. In 2006 I ordered Katatonia's The Great Cold Distance on vinyl. I started seeing posts on the forum of everybody receiving their copies. Except mine didn't turn up.. So I contacted Peaceville. They immediately sent another one out to me no questions asked. That one also took some time to arrive but at least I got it. For all the inconvenience they offered me a free CD/DVD out of their catalogue, so I picked a My Dying Bride dvd and got that too.
And then one day, some 3 months after my initial order, I got a notification in my mailbox of a package waiting for me at the postoffice, I had no idea what it could be, I wasn't expecting anything. Turns out it's that first 'lost' LP they had sent me and as super dooper collector's geek bonus, it was number 0001 of 2000, woohooo!
