Was a steal so couldnt resist.

It's a RBX775. It sounds really brutal in drop A with a .135 string :kickass:

 I actually tune my 5 string up to C# instead of tuning the bass down....it cuts through the massive wall of distorted guitars like a dream! :D

I was thinking about buying an SR series bass from Ibanez some years ago but I went with a Ibanez BTB 705 DX instead....asians may produce alot of low quality stuff but they sure can build bass guitars! :kickass:

Btw is that Yamaha some sort of early Billy Sheehan signature model??

I was thinking a lot about Btb 705, but the seller was sadly overpricing it, and that SR was dirt cheap in perfect condition so the choice was clear. And I dont regret nothing, the bass is amazing, only thing I can complain about is the colour, the blue version of this guitar looks more cooler, but hey, the sound matters.

As for the Yamaha, I have no idea, it's not my guitar and I never had any Yamahas in my hands so cant answer your question. I could ask though.

I tested an SR bass but the neck was so thin and the string space so narrow compared to what I was used to so it felt way to much out of my comfort zone. A 5 string SR neck is about the same size as a regular 4 string neck...I guess some people love that but it wasn't for me.

I think Ibanez should start making bass models based on all their awesome guitar models like a Destroyer bass and a Xiphos bass...and being back The old headstock ffs!!

So I agree with him. So far nobody saw me holding a bass and nobody will, Im recording alone in the basement, just to be sure. After im done with drums and bass I can go back safely to my room.

Judging by the packaging it must contain bits of dragon.

What the hell is up with that sig?.
