Yeah, I have that album on my fucking long ass amazon list.
I'll check out more of it when I feel like hearing new music again.
I recommend to you all :
Rainbow - Rainbow
Dio and Blackmore. Need I say more?
Out of the 8 songs, I'd say 6 of them are classics. "Black Sheep of the Family" and "Snake Charmer" are ok, but not up to par with the rest of this amazing album. "Man On the Silver Mountain" is a legendary song! Riffs, solos, vocals, basslines....
Personal favorites have to be the two ballad typo songs though. "Catch the Rainbow" is EXTREMELY reminiscent of "Little Wing" by Jimi Hendrix, which makes the song that much more anazing.
And "The Temple of the King" reminds me of "Tribute" by Tenacious D, but its all good, because the acoustic/clean guitars are incredible.
Demolition Hammer - Epidemic of Violence
Its Demolition Hammer.

Nevermore - This Godless Endeavor
Oh. My. God. I fucking love this album. 11 songs total, including a minute and a half acoustic interlude type song. First off, the vocals. Holy shit they're AMAZING. If Warrel Dane isn't the most passionate singer on the face of the planet, I don't know who is. "Sentient 6" is a perfect example of this. The song is about a robot created to destroy the human race, but ends up wanting to be human so he can feel human emotions. Speaking of that song, its easily the best off this album, and out of the two albums I own from this band, this song is IMMEDIATELY #1. Its that good. Lyric wise, this album is brilliant. The lyrics to "Final Product" and its description of how the music industry exploits deceased musicians for more money. Not to mention the lyrics to "This Godless Endeavor". After hearing this album, I can say without a doubt that Jeff Loomis is one of my favorite guitarists. The rampant solos mixed with brilliant riffs solidify this fact.
I think thats all I got for now.....
