I was thinking "Heck, maybe morningrise is the perfect album" So i listened to it in headphones, and lo and behold, there is one part, ONE PART, ONE RIFF, that makes that album only 99.5% perfect.

The riff i'm talking about is in nectar, you nkow the one:

Da da daaaaa,, DADADA DIIIIIIIII DA DAAAAAAAA.... Da da daaaa DADADA DIIIIIIIIIIII DA DAAAAAAAA...

That part runis that song for me, and makes the album just "Almost" perfect. Damn.. Especially the DIIIIIIIIIII part.:ill:

Any opinions?:)

hey weren't you the one who also hated the singing at the electro guitar part of to bid you farewell? come on stop trying to find flaws for the PERFECT album

Hated is a very strong word... i just thought that he sang out of tune, the song and the electric kick in are great, and realy makes that song great...

@Chris it sounds so out of place in that song, and i just don't like the DIIII part of it...

Yeah it contains awesome bass and guitar stuff as in whole Morningrise :p

Dull parts? I think most of the accoustic parts in Black Rose Immortal are the best accoustic parts on the whole album. Unless you're not referring to the accoustic parts...but I think the whole song is perfect (this coming from a guy who used to hate it)

Exactly the same for me , i first just like it whereas actually it's maybe one of my favorite tracks of the albums

relax, nobody is slamming it.

and the scream at the end of BRI is just about 20 seconds long, not thirty, its a hella powerful scream though.

haha look, i said hella, i must be from south jersey [but i'm not]

Nectar = Best song on Morningrise, and one of my top 3 favorite Opeth songs. That riff especially (if I am thinking of the right one) is actually one of my favorite Opeth moments ever. I'm gonna go listen to that song now, yowzo!
