Maybe if I was in his management I'd suggest to try different outfits at times. Sometimes wearing some gentile less-rebel thing like a light coloured flannel shirt or a gray sleeve open with a white shirt under with black jeans would look fresh and also give a self-confident change to show their playing skills aren't dependable on any outfits

I'm seriously starting to question your sexuality dude....who cares what "outfits" they have as long as they write and perform good music.

On the other hand, I feel like we are going to start getting all the news we could hope for very soon

A couple of comments I came across on a Finnish musician forum about the solo of Was It Worth It:

"Mun mielestä tuo soolo kuulostaa siltä että Laiho on jurrissa vetaissut puoliläpällä jonkun omituisen rävellyksen narulle ja hohotellut perään että on niin vammainen juttu että se jätetään levylle."

"Mun mielestä tuo on "porno soolo". Siinä mielessä, että siitä tulee mielikuva, miten läski, ruma, viiksekäs Gunther hyväksikäyttää nuoren Tatjana 18:n kaikkia reikiä ja laskee creampiet ränniin ja sitten kaiken lisäksi vähempiosainen pilipalisti haluaa osingoille myös ja suorittaa niin kovasti tarpeitansa vaativan aktin jälkiliukkaiden perään, koska näin on aiemminkin ollut tapana. I'm just tired, and tired of waiting.

Maybe they made WIWI the single to put people's hopes down and then turn the table with the album. Maybe not intentionally, but that's likely what's gonna happen. Not many would even consider WIWI a regular COB track due to its simplicity. SKO is in another universe.

For sure the impact of Blooddrunk as an album was weakened because they'd released three of the best tracks in advance, Blooddrunk, Tie My Rope and Banned from Heaven. This time maybe it'll be much better...

Well they're pretty much saying Laiho must've been drunk when he half-jokingly threw some stuff with his guitar and decided it sounded so retarded he'll put it on the album. The other said the solo reminds of Gynther shagging a cheap slut and giving high five to the keyboard player to nail her too simply because it's always been the habit, and then laugh.

And FWIW, the Finnish language really loves the vowels.

I guess so, wonder if google translator is even able to translate it because most of the words aren't in basic form.

It seems as if he didn't even try at the solo section. Now I think Alexi is a damn good player, but god it's like at halfway through composing the song he just said "...I don't fucking know. This? Yeah, whatever.". Even Roope's section, what was that? I'm not the greatest at guitar but I know even I could probably come up with a better solo. This is honestly one of the only COB songs I can say that about. Well maybe the Hellhounds solo too.

I agree with Joonas on SKO sounding like it's from a completely different album, that gives me hope. WIWI is a filler song, hopefully the only one. I mean it isn't TOO bad, but I wanted to at least hear some SKO-ish soloing. It definately would have helped the song as a whole...

I don't know about all you guys but what depresses me, If we listen back to all the Sinergy albums(I hate Kims singing by the way) The solos Alexi and Roope came up with where outstanding..... And as much as I LIKE WIWI the solos really let me down!

It's like Nickelback with In Flames vocals and for some reason a pretty COB melody of old found its place in there. It simply has to be a lead-astray, the rest of the album can't sound like that. There's this glimmer of hope because "many" have said it reminds their old albums and is probably their best album. Then again that's what they always say because it's this lame agreement. This is nerve-wrecking because it could be their worst album just as well as it could be among their best; so far we've heard two songs (kinda) of which one is a nutcracker straight out of old-school fans' fantasies, but the other leaves a huge question mark. I would guess there will be quite big diversity between how good the 9 tracks on the album will be, so I've understood...
