128 contestants, 1 winner. The best album ever made, according to the Royal Carnage forum populace:

I'm going to compile a list that shows the albums ranked from 1-128 soon. Anyway, let the flaming commence!

RC HAS SHITTY TASTES

this or Erik didn't make Pale Folklore win because it would have been too flagrant he had his hands on the contest

I can live with the top 4, but yes, it'll be interesting to see all the rankings. :)

What was the actual difference in votes between Burzum and runner up, Agalloch?

not bad! i don't know how this beat all those popular old bands, but to me that just means that RC is more levelheaded than a bunch of oldschoolers voting based on nostalgia!

hahaha what?! Dude Rust in Peace shits all over this entire list, and I must admit, I have very little nostalgia with that album even if I've been listening to it for well over a decade. That album is just flat out SOLID and nothing more.

I have more nostalgia with Cryptic Writings (first year of college, woo!) than Rust in Peace, simply because I've ALWAYS listened to Rust in Peace, it's been a part of the daily routine for most of my years.

Rust in Peace is one of maybe 5 albums that, objectively speaking, are untouchable.

Yea, well that's you, it's fine and all, I'm just glad that RC's general tastes are representative of a variety of tastes, but I didn't even need a tournament to tell me that, so why am I even posting here? :loco:

Im not upset by this, but im baffled as to how it beat out the likes of Maiden.

But hey, im wearing my Hvis shirt right now so im a f4nboi as well
